BHETA in Trade Association Forum (TAF) awards

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) has been shortlisted in two categories in the TAF Best Practice Awards.

Its hugely successful Bunnings Forum last November, at which Bunnings UK and Ireland managing director PJ Davis made the first public presentation of the UK Bunnings business since its acquisition of Homebase has been shortlisted for Event of the Year. BHETA has also been shortlisted for the Membership Engagement Award.

The winners will be announced at the 2017 Best Practice Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, 12th July at Drapers Hall in London, coinciding with TAF’s Annual Conference.

The Awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK and are a chance for TAF members to showcase their achievements during the previous twelve months.

The TAF Awards are endorsed by leading National Awarding Organisation NCFE and formally supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

BHETA’s home improvement sector director, Paul Grinsell commented:

“It’s a great honour to be acknowledged amongst our peers and it’s great to be recognised for the level of added value we give to our membership. Compliance, advice and practical help are all very important parts of our offer but the access we enable for our members to added sales at home and abroad really sets us apart. It’s also fantastic for the whole team to have its success recognised in this way.”
